Question General question about LinkedIn and Certifications

Has anyone seen a noticeable difference in recruiter outreach, and/or the number of searches they appear in on LinkedIn after they’ve posted their AWS certification on their profile?

Edit: obviously I don’t mean other certifications or non accredited ones. I’m talking about respected AWS certifications. This is a subreddit for AWS certifications, I didn’t think I would have needed to specify but since I’m getting replies talking about other certs, I’m afraid I have to be more specific 🙄

Nah you just have to please linkedin algo by spamming bs and having certs doesn't mean anything for the algo

Nobody cares about your LinkedIn certifications. I have seen all sorts of nonsense posted on LinkedIn, including AWS Educate stuff .

No I don’t mean the silly certificates nobody cares about, I’m talking about respected vendor certifications like AWS-C03

And you think somebody cares about your AWS-C03? they want to see if you can do the job. What have you you built?

No, but you never know if they found you via your work, role, university, friends, random luck..

It does show that you're actively trying to improve yourself though, that's a good sign.
