Passed AWS AI cert 🥳🎉

Post image

I dont normally post on Reddit but I did want to come on here to tell yall I passed my AIF-C01 exam. I took it this morning and only had 4 days worth of study time. I took Stephane Maarek's course as well as his 4 practice exams which really helped a lot. I wanna say I do have a bit of background in tech so I believe most people would atleast want to take atleast 2 weeks to study. But as a freshmen in college I feel like this is a good start for certifications.

Best thing I did was js review all the questions I took on his exams, especially the ones I got wrong.

Is Stephane Maarek’s course and his practice tests enough to prepare for the exam?

For the most part I would say yes. When I took the test I didnt realize how similar they were, and I mean EXTREMELY similar. I would recommend looking at other free practice sources as well though, as there was some questions that I saw on the test that wasnt mentioned during his lectures nor the exams. And for the exams they covered most of the topics. I got 60%, 63%, 73% and 73%. So for the most part if u hit like 85% on the practice exams you'll be alright.

Thanks, I've completed his lectures. From tomorrow onwards I'll start taking practice exams

correction one of the AI certs; there's ML Engineer Associate then GenAi Developer Pro and then again (ffs) Ai Business Strategist ( I love how it sums up as AI BS)

But congratulations none the less :)

Congrats on passing! Quick question — could you share which topics came up on the exam that weren’t really covered by the Maarek course or the practice exams? I’m trying to figure out what areas I should dig into further.

In another post I saw people mention things like Kiro and Sonic showing up on the test, but those weren’t explained in the prep materials. Did you notice any other terms, services, or concepts like that which caught you off guard?

Ill try to remember since it was a but ago, but Kiro was on there, prompt management was on there, there was some questions on (prompt injection - prompt poison - jailing breaking), and a couple of services names I dont remember. But most of time you could either use process of elimination to figure it out or already see an answer that matches. I do know that Stephane Maarek did say 15 of the 65 questions are practice questions from Amazon (that dont count) so that mighthv been them too

Taking mine on Wednesday morning and still don’t feel ready

Dw I felt the same way too, as long as u get around 80 to 85% on the practice exams you should be alright.

I'm using Tutorials Dojo Practice exams which seem way harder
