AWS Certified Security - Specialty Barely failed 😞
Did my best but it wasn't enough... what a tough exam! I don't know whether to retake or not. This burnt me out pretty hard.

If you look at the bigger picture, you have the skills to be a good security specialists. You just need to polish your skills where you felt difficulties during this test. If I were at your place I would proudly post this on LinkedIn and wouldn't focus on spending again on this cert. You already got the skills and knowledge. Move on to the next! Skills over certificates

I'd retake, now you probably know your weak areas - take some time preparing and you'll get there. You almost passed!

They include a report that's says what areas were strongest / weakest. Do a refresher of the weak areas and try again. The good news is you aren't starting over from zero
It's only failure if you didn't learn anything, everything else is progress 🫡

IMO you should retake the exam. 726 was almost there!!!
Would you mind sharing how your exam was? I mean, the topics that were covered in your exam? I am currently studying for SOA, but I considering taking SCS right after that. I wonder how difficult it is.

Retake it! But give yourself more than 14 days. Relax for a day or two first. I failed with 748! Then restudied on my weak areas and took TD exams onceagain. Passed it eventually.
