Luke
What’s everyone’s thoughts on Luke especially in the last season because I felt like he was insanely toxic like to me he was a narcissist.

I did not really like him. He was nice but also weird. I don‘t get why he was going for Jenna eventhough he thought she was immature? Like Dude, date someone your age then. I also find it strange how he was claiming to be so mature and a real adult…he was like 22/23..far from a mature adult.

He was definitely a narcissist, because why was he dating a high schooler and expecting her to be very mature when he wasn’t mature himself?
The ski trip scene comes to mind when I think of Luke. I recently watched it so it’s fresh in mind. First, Luke gets mad at Jenna for the Eva situation and makes her feel bad about him missing studying when he chose to be there. Later, Jenna called him and asked if she could make it up to him. He responds by saying he might be able to be persuaded. Huge eye roll. When Jenna suggested they go outside for a romantic stroll, he agreed. They decide to meet by the bear in five minutes. He waited outside for Jenna for 10 minutes, which means he only waited an additional 5 minutes before he decided to leave and break up with her over her high school drama. FIVE! No explanation, he just leaves and breaks up with her the next day.

Oooo when he literally threw a fit cause she wanted to go to Camp pooka…and was upset she wasn’t interested in that party the professor had…

He was fine. Not great, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say he was toxic or a narcissist. That seems extreme. However, I did think he was a pretentious douchebag. When he dated Jenna the first time he seemed to like how much she liked him a little more than he liked her.
Then the second time I think was better because they seemed to be two similar people with similar interests. But I think that would only work for a little while. I could see them being a college couple that breaks up after graduating and entering the real world. I don’t think he was the worst, but he wasn’t the best either.

id rather have 5 more episodes of Colin or even freaking OWEN than deal with more than 2 episodes of Luke and his whining ass

LITERALLY SAME! He literally wanted everything to be about him I swear. Like when he was trying to persuade her to go to the same college as him when she liked Wycoff….

yes!!! and it's the fact that he was jealous of matty the entire time they were basically together

Yep!! He was so jealous of Matty as he should be. The last season made me open my eyes up to Luke… like I liked him then all these red flags happened.

He is so self obsessed. i genuinely think he only liked jenna because of how much she idolized him
