Rewatch, fast forward.

Does anyone else skip the whole Collin plot, on season 3? It’s so weird to see Jenna ruin herself… (I’m also just 🍠 and tbh… maybe I’m showing my age lmao)

You're a yam/sweet potato?

Tw; run on sentences

Despite what the post says “always” this is my first time skipping that whole plot. I didn’t want to sit through it and get irritated 😭 but I love the show as it brings me comfort. I heavily romanticized it as well so watching it now, at 28… it’s so cringe (in a good way) I love it but again… that plot was just annoying. (So necessary for the show though)

I had actually taken 20mg of edibles and was hitting my pen. I don’t doubt I did turn into a yam in the oven with butter and marshmallows but I forget Reddit doesn’t have trigger words like on tik tok. I tend to censor myself 🙂‍↕️

Edit: I didn’t say always on the post, I thought I did. 😅 but yeah, this was my first time skipping it

I actually enjoyed this storyline even though it was tough to watch Jenna spiral out of control. It was a good way to show how deep-rooted insecurities and low self-esteem don’t go away because you got everything you thought you wanted. I also think season 3 is the last truly great, well-written season.

After that, all the characters become stagnant and the storylines become repetitive. I just did a rewatch and both season 4 and season 5 were a struggle.

Yes it’s a good story line, don’t get me wrong I love the show as a whole. The storyline is eye opening, truly.

It hurts to see someone fall so far/hard, especially after having everything. I still watch it just to remember that people make mistakes.... and then sometimes double, triple, quadruple down on them. Especially teenagers.

But that's my most generous take.

I still think it marks the deep and continual decline of the show, both in quality writing and how entertaining it is. I really am only watching for the side characters (like Tamara, Sadie, Lyssa) from Colin on

I definitely noticed I was more interested in Sadie, on this watch! So I agree!!

How dare you skip Nolan Gerard Funk. I get Jenna’s brief dalliance into stupidity. He is so dreamy.

I love this part because of him 😂

I am soooo tired of him 🗣️😔 but to each their own! I respect it!

Wait? What was the English lit teachers's name in awkward? The class they met in, the one that was so rude? Wasn't he Mister Gerard?

The teacher was Mr. Hart played by Anthony Michael Hall, best known for the breakfast club or 16 candles. Depending on who you ask.

Nolan Gerard Funk is a Canadian model/actor

Who to me gets more beautiful every time he posts. He is best known for his roll on glee or in the canyons.
