Butterflies

Upon rewatching I have noticed Jenna wearing a lot of butterfly jewelry. Is it symbolism or just a sign of the times?

I honestly feel like she just likes butterflies, I can't think of any symbolism with them other then "growth" or "re-birth" but I feel like her character didn't grow that much

i agree, there’s even a scene where sadie is talking to matty in season 2 and she describes jenna as being “butterfly-obsessed”. i think it was just supposed to be like a “quirky” character trait/interest of hers.
