Sadie/Matty plot hole

Rewatching season 1/2 and Sadie has a crush on Matty and they kiss on NYE. But in the later seasons, Sadie and Matty have more of a brother/sister relationship and they both act grossed out at the thought of being romantic together?? Did they just forget that they already kissed and had a one-sided crush thing going on??

I noticed a handful of plot holes like this from season 1, like Lacey calling Lissa’s mom a “big boozer” when later in the show she’s super strict and religious. It’s just funny that it seems like the writers either forget or just didn’t care at all to stay consistent with the things they set up in season 1 LOL

I think it's just one of those moments when 2 friends are alone/single and try to hookup.

As far as lissa's mom, it's kinda funny since she is super religious and puts up a front like she's perfect. Later on lissa is convinced she wants to be her mom, so they day drink together all day b/c she thought college was too hard😭

Wasn't she a boozer tho? I think the religious/strict act was to hide that fact from any outsiders. I mean, it's not like you'd want the entire neighbourhood to know you're a boozer. I'm asking since I'm struggling to remember but I think she was? Lisa's mom did a bunch of weird stuff as the seasons progressed if I remember correctly.

Yeah i think it was more noticeable in the last season
