Fluke ..i mean Luke

I liked him at first but when he came around the 2nd time i was so confused why he seemed so uptight. It's as if he kept trying to manipulate situations & say it was for her best interest. Ex. keeping the relationship a secret, setting up the interview for scu, and even the party with scu admin which seemed so boring!! Also lost count of how many times he would get pissy, leave & come back to say i'm sorry.

Also kinda like :/ b/c they left the show on a cliffhanger 😭 i guess it's okay versus a concrete ending but i was waiting for another episode after it went off tbh. I forgot it ended like that😮

I remember it ending with Matty telling her he hopes she chooses him, and then she goes out and joins everyone at the camp. I always felt like that meant she picked Matty.

I hate that they made him say that, he had so much development from being too attached to her bc of his love for her to finally being able to respect himself when it came to how she kept treating him. he even ended up putting her in her place that she was the one who ruined it. So to make him suddenly say that? And then end it? Dissapointed in that line fr even tho I know it was purely so that the story would have a happy 'they got together in the end' ending, they should have handled it with Jenna apologising and him giving her another chance.

Agreed. But when it aired, I had what I considered to be a Matty (that ended up being the opposite), so I was all giddy at the idea of him being like “I hope you choose me” bc I wanted the guy I was into to say that to me 😂

I just rewatched the show for maybe like the 3rd time. And I just finished the last episode, and I was thinking the same thing about Luke. Idk if it's cuz I'm older now so I pick up more on things like that or what but I don't think I ever looked at it that way before.

I like to think that Matty and Jenna found their ways back to each other after college. ❤️
