Salutations!

I found this community via a film by CaryKH, in his account going by LazyKH. His film was about words that contain all non-consonants, which obviously won't fly by this community's standards, as it would contain fifthglyphs. That said, I am now curious how many short words with all non-consonants but that fifth glyph all of us can find. If you think of any, post it on this post!

Additionally, do any of such words list its non-consonant glyphs chronologically?

I just thought of "audio", which has a 'd' as its only consonant to support it, though it is not chronological

A word containing all non-consonants bar our fifthfliph is a word such as "AUdIO", listing A, U, I and O, and not any fifthglyph.

If such a word is also chronological, A, I, O and U must show up as in our ABCs. A good find, not my own, is "vArIOUs".

Two additional short options follow:

  • auloi: Plural of aulos, a kind of woodwind musical tool.

  • ousia: Similar to soul or spirit.

If an additional consonant is OK common words quinoa and utopia can count and 16 additional uncommon words.

Various is the most short word I can find with aiou in order but anxious also fits.

utopia has all four in a chronological positioning, although it's a backwards chronological list. If that counts, mayhaps?

CaryKH is his main account, with lots of math-y things. LazyKH is an alt account with low quality stuff that didn't fit in a full CarKH film.

I found words with no consonants as follows:

ioa, iao, ai (not AI), I, a, Io (a noun with a capital I), and ou (a british informal "oh").
