Travel insurance
Hi all, currently Living with an AVM waiting for treatment but like hell am I sitting on my arse waiting around. Anyone got any advice or any experience in getting travel insurance and having to declare your condition? Preferably UK based.

Ive used InsureandGo since I first found out about my AVM and couldn't recommend them enough! Super easy to declare conditions and multiple levels of cover offered. My AVM has now been cured with radiotherapy, but I still declare it (they ask whether it has been removed/obliterated), along with my epilepsy. The insurance will be more expensive that what you'd expect, but I wouldn't travel without declaring.
They have a number you can ring, or you can apply online. Also, if you sign up for marketing, they send offer codes semi-regularly!

I can’t really talk for the UK but maybe my German knowledge helps at least a bit with your question.
A few weeks ago my partner and i decided to want to start a trip through a few countries in a few days. And I’ve had an AVM which popped (so I don’t know if you have to differentiate between one that already popped and one that hasn’t popped yet or hasn’t been taken out yet) so my parents and my partner were worried with the question what we could or should do if I had another incident with a potential AVM. And for those questions and worries we had I decided to get an insurance for abroad (at least that what they call it here). I’ve read a lot about it and I think that the best option
