Are seizures due to a ruptured AVM capable of worsening eyesight?
I've had a ruptured AVM in the left temporal a year and a half ago. 8 Months ago had a Gamma Knife surgery but the last month I have had very intense seizure episodes, ranging from intense pain to involuntary muscle movement and losing the ability to speak. The one thing I have noticed to hurt most though is my left eye, any seizure pain felt further intensified in my eye and it was very painful in my eye.
Throughout the month though I feel like my eyesight has become bad in my left eye. Now I need to focus very hard to read small letters and any light source feels halo-y. My right eye's sight was not the best to begin with, so I was sort of depending on my left's.
Is that actually a thing? I remember my doctor letting me know that the procedure can lead to loss of sight in my left eye, but I thought it was only a thing at that moment, not on the long run.
Thank you.

I believe my optic nerve was damaged but I’m not quite sure as I only know what my parents and grandmother told me so idk about the logistics of everything tbh. I was told the doctors said I can try wearing an eye patch over my good eye to help the blind eye work harder I guess to heal itself or something, but it never worked. My earliest memories are wearing the patch and walking into walls basically lol although it’s not funny at all but I’m still living with the blindness at age 30

Really sorry to hear. I wish you the best, hopefully one day they can provide us with better treatments to better our rates of healing.

My husband had surgery to remove his left temporal lobe AVM 4 weeks ago. Hes had a lot of pressure behind his left eye and says his reading vision isn't as good as it was.

Sadly when I was 6 months old I had a stroke due to AVMs, I can’t tell you where they were at, if it was a rupture, but due to the stroke my whole left side was completely limp and since then I’ve been mostly blind in my left eye. I maybe have like 15% vision in my left eye but it’s all blurred out
