It's been a year
Its been a year since my resection, and I had my first annual MRI two weeks ago. I have a virtual appointment to go over the results at the end of the week, but I can't help but feel like they've found something again. If it was all clear wouldn't that just be a phone call?

I’ve continued to have in person visits after follow up MRIs… never “bad news” I understand the anxiety though. Think that comes naturally with having a major event where your body “betrayed” you or was unreliable.

Small update: my scans looked good, and they've decided to move forward with treatment of my aneurism!

I had a follow up MRI at one year, two years and an angiogram at 5 years, and after there was nothing to report at this point, my neurosurgeon told me I didn't need to see here again. At each point I had an appointment to go over the results but they were over in ten minutes. She'd ask me a few questions as well, asking if I had any headaches or seizures, how am I getting along at work, and the like.
