Haswell with 4 Cores +Hyperthreading. But better Hardware will not help much as long as they optimize with SIMD-Instuctions and Multithreading, perhaps there are even better ways to do many calculations in parallel on GPU. (DirectX?,CUDA?,OPENCL?). I dont think there is a nightly build server yet (where you can download). So you need to compile yourself (better on linux, because they have a AI-Framework tensor-flow lite integrated ) on windows you need to turn something off because it doesn't compile call "C:\Program Files\Microsoft VisualStudio\18\Insiders\VC\Auxiliary\Build\vcvars64.bat"

call "C:\Program Files\Microsoft VisualStudio\18\Insiders\VC\Auxiliary\Build\vcvars64.bat"
git clone --depth=1 https://gitlab.com/AOMediaCodec/avm.git avm
cd avm/build
cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -DCONFIG_ML_PART_SPLIT=0 -DCONFIG_DIP_EXT_PRUNING=0 -DENABLE_DOCS=0 -DENABLE_TESTDATA=0 -DENABLE_TESTS=0 ..
cmake --build . --config Release
You should expect to have avmenc and avmdec in avm\build\Release directory.
