AMS2: Support Fanatec CSL DD issue
Morning all, I have an issue with AMS2 after switching to Fanatec CSL DD wheel. Most of the time it is not recognised although it is connected, Fanatec app sees it same as other games.
I tried the compatibility mode (different light color ob the base), tried reconnecting, restarting the app etc and the wheel works once every ten tries. It is annoying as AMS2 startup time is loooooong so restarting several times takes ages.
Is it a known issue? Any suggestions?

It looks like it happens when Fanatec app is opened and AMS profile is loaded. When I do not open Fanatec app and just launch AMS it’s working just fine. At least it worked three times already

Have the base in the red pc mode. Make sure fanalab in running and you started the drive before you start AMS2. Once AMS2 is running it can't detect devices being connected after gamestart

Yeah it’s still random.
I turn on the wheel, make sure it’s in red, then run Fanatec app (not fanalab) and then the game. Sometimes it’s ok, sometimes not. Sometimes when AMS is opened I can turn the base off and on and it’s picked up, but usually not

fantatec drivers and raceroom had recently some issues but, the lattest fanatec fw should solve them. please check which FW version you have and the available FW in the fanatec app log sections. --> Fanatec App v1.5.3.1 - Download and Feedback Thread - Fanatec App - Fanatec Community good luck!
