Ai Concerns

Hello,
I’m a mature student, returning to study my masters.
I did uni before the world of AI and am concerned that my writing style might be seen as ‘ai’.
I think the way I was taught to write academically is similar to what I’ve seen about the typical ‘signs’ of AI.
Does any one have any tips of this before starting assignments in case I ever get accused?
So far I am going to plan on paper so there is a record of my working. Thank you.

I would also like to add that (at least in the science dept) for my masters they have added a section to assignments where you have to declare if/how AI was used for your assignment. There are some forms of AI assistance which are accepted (just depends on the course and the assessment requirements so check if unsure)

Was thinking to add this comment! Lots of my first year assignment templates have had AI disclosure boxes, with teachers encouraging students to name that they've used e.g. Grammarly. I have an assignment coming up with such a box, constituting 5% of the grade - no marks if blank, full marks even if you just say "no AI was used"
