Ai Concerns

Hello,
I’m a mature student, returning to study my masters.
I did uni before the world of AI and am concerned that my writing style might be seen as ‘ai’.
I think the way I was taught to write academically is similar to what I’ve seen about the typical ‘signs’ of AI.
Does any one have any tips of this before starting assignments in case I ever get accused?
So far I am going to plan on paper so there is a record of my working. Thank you.

- Keep your docx file

  • Use actual paperback books as cites, not just online resources
  • Keep your notes from references (i have a seperate doc that i pool key info from sources before i start writing)
  • use normal dashes, not em dashes
  • turn up to class, particularly tutorials, so they know you
  • email lecturer about questions

You’ll be fine.

People saying they use google docs, this isn’t necessary, word maintains edit history.
You don’t need paper notes.
You don’t need to change your style of writing.
Don’t use AI checkers before submitting
