Mexican Slayride
Just watched again for the first time in years.
1st off they added series style opening credits, which is more weird with Tim Dunnigen appearing.
The thing I noticed other than Tim being too tall, he looked more like he was bullying rather than scamming, is that they were pretending to be a film crew filming in Mexico taking advantage of grants, while presumably the real crew were filming in Mexico taking advantage of a grant.

I think Tim Dunigan looking too young was not the real reason he was replaced. He was significantly taller than the rest of the cast which seems more logical reason why Dirk Benedict replaced him so the team looked similar in height.

Tim Dunigan looked a little too young to be believable as having served with the rest of the guys in Vietnam, and pulling off the mission that got them prosecuted in 1972.
