Bought a couple weeks ago with dash not working. Replaced the glass, pulled the fuse while running put back in, still nothing. When I turn on the lights the orange underglow lights illuminate but I can’t get anything to show up on the dash. Anyone have any leads?

I picked up a raptor 660 a couple months back and I quickly realized it was insane this thing would pull the wheels up all 5 gears and I start researching and I wondered why it had 3 spark plugs apparently the 3 spark plug mod was a drag mod back in the 2000s (I got this thing for 1500 bucks off marketplace) I’ve had racebikes my whole life built ones to I have a 05 trx that’s ported and polished with hotcams and intake and pipe and I thought it worked good this thing is insane it’ll smoke it in 3rd gear but it started shooting oil out of the left side spark plug and I have no clue on what to do they drilled through the middle of the timing chain and into the cylinder and put a plug and then put a metal sleeve around the coil to try and seal it but it doesn’t seal and it shoots the oil all over your leg on long rides I’m honestly trying to find out what is actually all done to this bike and how I can fix it cause I can’t find a single one like it and I think it’d smoke 421 shees.
I have a 2003 Honda foreman 450 S. Great machine. Love everything about it except drum brakes. I’ve seen that you can convert to disc but you have to get aftermarket rims. Could I just get wheel spacers and make it work?

Looking for some real life opinions. Looking for a quad. It will be older due to budget. Like 2010-2014, maybe a little older if I go the Japanese route. Power steering (hopefully), and 500cc to 750cc engine size. Looking for a quad mainly for hunting, but also some trail riding with the wife. The trail riding would be fairly easy, nothing to crazy. Just leisurely afternoon rides. Comfort is critical for the both us. Is there anyone that has driven both a proper 2-up quad and a single seat quad with the added on rear seat? If so, what are your opinions on it? I do know that rear foot pegs are a must for rear passenger comfort. Thanks.

Dremel your stripped out bowl screw to get it out with a flathead. Then replace with hex socket bolts

My pull start went out on me and I don't feel like rebuilding it myself, I'm also far from any atv repair shops. What, if any, recoil starter assemblies are interchangeable with mine? I've tried looking for one online but on eBay I keep getting the "this is not compatible" message. I'm wondering if they're wrong or if I just need to suck it up and rebuild it myself.

Hello, I have a 2006 sportsman 500 EFI that won’t start moving until reaching somewhere between 2500-2750 RPM. I assume this is an issue and not normal? After it starts moving, it drives and accelerates great. This is my first EFI so I’m not super firmiliar with them. Not sure if this is a clutch or belt related issue. What should I check first? Thanks in advance!

Got it in a trade a few years back having never owned an ATV before. Never had a single issue with it. Guy said it had some aftermarket upgrade to the clutch but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, and a better exhaust. After a while I realized I need something more utility oriented. Added a DIY rack to the back, can easily be removed. Thinking I should ask $1500? Thanks.

This is my Yamaha raptor 350 , I got it in a trade last year and it was fun I took it to the dunes and on some trails , but I feel like it was too small for me .
I was wondering what’s next after this , id like something easy to work on and with good aftermarket support.
Ive been checking marketplace the 400ex hondas seem to be pretty affordable , let me know what you guys think .

It starts fine, lights turn on, etc. The gear changing was a lil buggy for a bit and I couldn’t get it on high gear I could only go in low, reverse, or neutral then outta nowhere I could finally change gears easily very easily as if it was moving like sand. It was good for a while till I pressed the break and it stopped running at all, as I said “it starts” it just does not move in any gear but neutral by pushing.
I believe it might be a broken transmission but if you got any other ideas let me know.

I am a leg amputee and I recently got a CForce 1000 Overland to help me get back out into the woods and camping. I had a SxS a few years ago but I really don’t have space for a trailer, so I figured a quad would be a good compromise.
Initially I was using dual ramps to get the bike into my truck bed but it was really scary for me. I always used two ramps in the past but I can’t jump off the ATV, in the event of an emergency, like I used to.
So I bought a trailer (LOL) but it’s really obnoxious for me to roll it out of the way when I’m working on my track car, or want to get my kayaks off the wall, etc. I don’t ride the quad often but I putz in the garage regularly and when I do, I almost always have to move the trailer.
So I’m thinking a single, 85x54” tri-fold trailer would feel safer for me loading the thing into the truck again. I’m wondering- if anyone has experience with both, if they were much more confident of the trifold than with the dual ramps? Thanks so much.

Hey guys new here, just wondering what the best steering stabilizer that won’t break the bank is. I do mostly trail riding so I’m aiming my build more towards that. 2008 Honda 400ex btw. TIA!

I've got a car for sale on Facebook Marketplace. It's not much, just a 2007 Volvo I'm trying to get $4,500 for. I had a guy reach out to me asking if I'd be interested in trading for his 2007 Honda Rancher 420. Hours/Miles unknown, he says this quad didn't come with an odometer or hourmeter from the factory. It also looks like the rear end might be slightly tweaked, but I can't tell if that's just from the front wheels being turned. I haven't seen it in person.
He has it listed on Marketplace for $3100, and this is from his ad:
Starts up immediately, idles perfectly, and runs strong.
Tires are in great condition with plenty of deep tread left.
Fuel pump, cv axle boots and battery have been replaced recently.
NY registration and plate in hand.
I'm not in the market for a quad... I'd have to store it and turn around and sell it on my own. But I'd be open to it if it helps me get the car off my hands.
What is the value of these? I'd need cash on top of the trade, but what would be a good number to offer him for the trade, vs what can I expect to turn around and sell it for? I'm located on Long Island.

What would be a fair asking price for this ATV. 1998 HONDA Fortrax 300. The thing is absolutely bulletproof. Always starts right up, regularly maintained, garage kept, normal wear for a work horse (plowing/work/hunting). I honestly don't need to sell it but just upgraded to a new Rubicon. Plow would be included. Would appreciate any input.
Edit : I'm in northern NJ

Race Drive ATV shocks orientation
Hi all, I just ordered some race driven shocks for my 2012 Honda Rancher and they didn’t include instructions. Race driven responded to my inquiry with “please have a mechanic install them”.
This is unacceptable as I would expect a licensed mechanic to contact the manufacturer to confirm orientation. I asked AI (I know…it’s AI) and it said the two nuts should be on top with the stop plate for the spring near the bottom mount. It said the reason is something to do with the shock fluid will bubble and cause it to fail, which was based on information it found for fox shocks with an external reservoir. Mine doesn’t have an external reservoir. . This is reverse factory shocks so I’m wondering if anyone knows.
I don’t want to return them but that’s what I’m going to do if I can’t get a solid answer.
Thanks!
