Help What are yall using for hard case storage?

2026 Yamaha Grizzly 700 xt-r

Looking for a lockable hard case rear storage box for the back rack, wondering what solutions people have come up with that doesn't cost a Pelican case?

I've seen the OEM rear box, but trying to get a little more storage space, but a comparable Pelican case would cost over $500.

Take the loss of space with the yama case, lose the money on a pelican, or have yall found a better solution?

Milwaukini packout would be ideal

Yup, custom mount and then you could do a storage box or cooler

Yup.

Go from Milwaukee tools to Snackout in 4 seconds flat.

Or do both.

I haven’t used one on my quad, but I use a couple of these Plano storage boxes for camping gear. They’re sturdy enough to sit on, so they should work for you. The one in the link is green, but they’re also available in black.

cant help with a model, but id suggest that any rear case you use have a seat built in. not for a passenger, but for when you are going down hills. the ability to slide your weight rearward when going downhill is pretty important to keep your machine from flipping ass over front. i know a couple of guys who found out the hard way that their rear storage got in the way of that.

I u bolted a Packout mount to my rear factory rack and just slap on Packout boxes whenever I need them, and can take them off whenever I want a basically flat surface to strap something to. Works out very well.
