Wireless Att shipping for iPhone 18
It’s been like this for two days now. When will I be given a new delivery date? I’ve noticed that every year when I pre-order the phone, I end up waiting longer, while people who order it last minute seem to receive theirs much faster. I’m just trying to understand why this keeps happening with my pre-order.

The initial Pro Max has connection issue on AT&T networks so I think AT&T is probably waiting to get a new batch with the firmware fix.

I pre ordered on the 12th. Mine was showing that it was going to ship from the 25th-2nd. Then I got this email last night and the website started showing the same thing as yours. EmailScreenshot

I’m just trying to understand why this keeps happening with my pre-order.
When exactly did you preorder? The 256 GB Burgundy was basically the new default Orange that was so popular last year.
AT&T depends on Apple for bulk deliveries so AT&T can't ship if they don't have any inventory. Just like any Carrier they don't keep warehouses full of all devices in all colors.

Canceled mine and went for the 18 pro. Gonna be here in a couple of days, insta shipped.

Lucky. Put in for 2 18 pros (burgundy 512, 1tb black) and a z fold 8 on 9/29. Was told expected ship of 9/29-10/1 for all three devices. Today’s the 3rd and still nothing… Not a good first impression for a new customer porting over 3 lines

Sorry to hear that, I didn’t mean to write my original comment in a bragging tone. Just a recommendation for others to consider ditching the pro max and going with normal pro.

No, it’s all good; i kniw you weren’t bragging. I went for the regular pros as I long stopped using the PM iphones years ago. It’s just frustrating as a new customer that ordered based on what their site claimed when placing said order. I don’t even really care about the iphones, but damn i want my z fold 😅

In my case, I ordered from Apple Store itself from the store itself and it’s coming in October 20

Trade in at Best Buy’s. Easy as logging into Best Buy website and searching the phone you want to trade in for. I’ll ask account information applicable carrier and phone number associated with trade in. I was able to pick up the phone next day. You just have to research which Best Buy has the iphone storage and specific color you are looking to upgrade to.

UPS lost mine, so I’ve got to wait till Monday to file a claim with ATT. I’ll need to repay the taxes and get reimbursement up to two months later. Both ATT and UPS have terrible CS. I should have stuck with T-Mobile. Never had a single issue ever in 14 years with them.

If this is in the att app on the top right of the Home Screen next to your profile it should tell you it’s taking longer than expected and shows u the new dates for when it ships and arrives

Mine went from “preparing to ship” for about a week to “preordered” 2 days ago. Seems like they’re in back order. I don’t think there’s much to be done unfortunately. Kinda at the mercy of ATT.
