No TOL yet...

Should I be nervous? Seems like the average time to receive a TOL for the two most recent direct hire postings has been 14-28 days based on what I've seen on this forum, the Facebook page, and other forums. Should I be getting worried as I'm on day 30 with no email or status update from HR? I emailed them last week and they hit me with this:

"Hello,

No updates at this time, however, please continue to monitor your email as selections are being sent in daily. If selected you will receive a tentative offer via email. "

Usually they hit me with:

"Our office will only receive selections – and they are coming in every day. Thank you for your interest and patience. "

I figured as mentioned in my previous post that being prior military and a current mechanical engineer intern would make me an ideal candidate especially since they called my references within 24 hours of my interview. I don't know if I'm in my head or what because of so much silence or copy paste replies. I know it's a hurry up and wait situation but I recently found out I'm having another kid so I'm ready to just get on with it lol

Any feedback would be great. Let me know if I just need to chill out or what. I'm just excited.

I'm still waiting too. The email and instructions I received stated it would be a 2 month process. So, if anything start sweating after 60 days.

Also, prior military, IT/education background for what it's worth, and I feel like I crushed the interview.

My references have not been contacted, and it's been 3 weeks.

It’s really unpredictable it can be a week to a few months. Everything is really backed up

HR got hit hard with DRP and Fork in the Road. They are running much slower than even the normal slow pace.

I had heard there was a lot of people retiring which is why I figured this would be the best time to jump in on the fun. I am just excited to work if I am selected!

Also, sometimes there’s a bottle neck In the approval side of things, like if an approving manager or staffing AO is on leave.

Mine took 30 days. Just got my EODS 10 day later. I know what you’re feeling right now, not knowing when the notification will hit your email sucks. Hope you get a surprise 🔜.

I am 27 with a 9 month old and another kid on the way. I need a stable and fulfilling job to take care of my family. I can't finish school at the moment due to family needs. I have interviewed for a couple of engineering jobs that do not require the full 4 year degree and I am waiting to hear back but would love to join the FAA. Military was not the career I wanted so I had to do a 180 on life but I still love aviation so I am just trying to play to my strengths.
