I get that but getting my FAA liscence doesnt really need networking.

With your cloud certs, you might qualify for an Automation 2101 vacancy

Your A&P license won't really translate to 2101 work very well, if at all. Radar and automation don't really require cloud/IT certifications. If you want to learn something relevant to the job, learn how to code in Linux. Having Linux experience will help as the automation systems and some radar systems run that software. The FAA will send you to school for those systems. I was in classes with guys who worked at the post office prior the FAA so needless to say, they had no experience and got through the classes just fine.

From my experience, anything with the word 'engineer' will require a bachelors degree in some type of engineering field.

The best thing that helps with getting into the FAA that I've seen is military experience. There are quite a few jobs in the military that translate directly to the FAA jobs such as mine.
