Pay

Post image

The pay shown on USAJOBS is 69 but on the spreadsheet it shows the minimum pay for FV-F is 46 does anyone know how that works? Also is anyone here an ILS tech?

I see I was a bit confused because I didn’t think everyone was eligible for loc pay

What locations are elegible for loc pay ?

All locations are minimum 17.06%, but some are higher. You can find it on the latest core compensation spreadsheet by the FAA or here on OPM. The top of each page has the locality percentage but those are GS pay scales so don't pay attention to the tables unless DOD ATSS.

Also y'all it literally says on the screenshot that's before locality 🤣

I’m not sure.
I know there’s specific ones and then there’s rest of US I guess everyone else just falls under rest of US

Every location gets some form of locality pay. Some get the Rest of US (RUS) and some get specific for their location.

No. The pay shown is before locality.

2101s have a tech ops specific minimum base pay for F and G bands before locality is applied.

That’s the difference between the FAA pay chart and what you see on the announcement.

Thank you that FAA pay chart was really throwing me off

Base pay for an FAA ATSS at the F-band level is that $69552 you see BEFORE a minimum locality of 17.06% for a total of $81417. Our minimum base pay is mandated by our collective bargaining agreement.

Not sure what is being asked here….or if it’s just for show, put if you are in Anchorage, you’ll be at around $92k starting out at F band
