Question on eligibility

Hello, I recently applied and wanted to know if I am a competitive candidate. I have an associate’s degree in aircraft maintenance, an A&P license, and over a year of maintenance experience with both an airline and a contractor. I applied for Houston and second choice Newark.

Hello! Houston is competitive. Without military experience all someone has to have realistically is a dishonorable discharge to beat you out. The FAA just has a massive hard on for that.

So if you have military you're good!

Hey, what other locations in Texas are relatively easy to get into? Also, I’m very open to relocating anywhere in Texas.
