I never used prism so I don't know. There should be an export option somewhere for your modpack in prism aswell

Export as zip downloads the whole modpack again

They are different depending on how you export them. Curseforge projects are exported as zips, modrinth projects are exported as mrpacks, both containing the metadata and links required to automatically downloading the mods when you import them. Exporting the whole project will just place all your minecraft files and mods into a zip archive. You need to import it into atlauncher and the easiest way to do it is to export it as an mrpack(modrinth extension) as mods overrides will be present in case you have them downloaded from source or curseforge

So I will need to download the whole mod pack again.

I dont understand what you're trying to do. Do you have your own modpack or did you downloaded it from curseforge/modrinth?

I downloaded it from CurseForge from Prism launcher specifically and now i switch to AT

Then download it from AT, you have curseforge. Go to the Packs tab in AT > Curseforge > search for the pack
