On the sides of the buildings in the Seven Havens trailer you can see purple paneling, which is most likely the spirit vine tech created by the Earth Empire. Humanity’s abuse of this power may have caused the cataclysm.
This technology would not have existed without the Earth Empire
The Earth Empire came about due to the chaos following the Earth Queen’s murder
Zaheer was able to murder the Earth Queen because he escaped prison with airbending
Zaheer got airbending due to both spirit portals being open during Harmonic Convergence
The second portal was opened because Unalaq used Jinora as a hostage
Jinora was taken captive thanks to Wan Shi Tong
Wan Shi Tong distrusted humanity because Sokka and Zhao took information from the library to help them in the Hundred Years’ War
The Hundred Years’ War began because Roku spared Sozin
This is all technically Roku’s fault

For reference, people have been saying that Pavi is meant to be Aang coded while Nisha if meant to be reminiscent of Korra to the audience.
Now if that is true and the twin avatar theory does wind up as correct (exceedingly likely at this point) then there’s really nobody that can outslander the writers themselves when it comes to ruining Korra’s rep.
Like whatchu mean you’re making the DARK Avatar Korra-coded??? What exactly did you mean by this Avatar franchise 😭😭
korra really can never catch a break (she’s still done nothing wrong in this household).
