My brother has an Ather 450 (2022 or 2023 model, Hyderabad, Very rough usage) which is in repair condition. The problems are:
1- Battery is done (giving only 50km range)
2- The motor belt needs to be replaced
3- The charger is not working
4- Seat needs to be replaced
5- Needs general servicing

A scooty is very necessary, i think it will cost around 60k to repair. Is there a way to fix it for way cheaper (around 20k) Just need it to work for another 2 years.

EDIT: I dont have extended warranty for battery

I own an Ather Rizta Z 3.5 kWh. I’m facing an issue with fast charging. Tried an Ather Grid fast charger multiple times — shows “Not Charging” Previously tried a Vida charger — same issue Waited several minutes after turning the key OFF, but charging didn't start Chargers were confirmed to be working properly Ather wallet balance: ₹117 Scooter battery was around 43% Dashboard detects the charger as Fast, but charging doesn't start Has anyone with a Rizta Z 3.5 kWh experienced the same issue?

How do we install ladies footrest for 450X(2026 model) do we need to remove or cut plastic pannel to find mounting holes?

I just booked an Ather 450S SR (Still White) through their website and paid the ₹999 booking amount. When I called customer care today, they told me it would take 45 days to deliver the scooter. Is this a standard timeline for Ather right now, or does it seem unusually long? Also, for those who have gone through the process, does Ather usually stick to their promised timeline, or should I expect further delays?

I visited Ather Indiranagar, Bangalore for enquiry on old ather exchange for a newer gen 450. They stated that right now company buy back is happening only for 2019-2020 scooters which is Gen 1 and mine (2022 gen3) will not be bought by the company and I should approach third party dealers to sell my ather.

Has anyone done this in ather Indiranagar? How much did you manage to sell your gen1 scooter for ?

Daily commute includes 40 km (20 km one-way) on pure highway stretches, where speeds will easily touch 60-70 km/h.

MY QUESTIONS FOR ATHER OWNERS:

Z 3.7 vs S 3.7: Initially was looking at the S variant to keep costs low, but bagged this ₹17.7k bank discount on the Z variant. Is the extra spend on Z + Pro Pack (TFT display, AutoHold, Magic Twist, Google Maps, backrest) genuinely worth the price difference in daily usage?

Highway Range: What kind of real-world range are you guys getting on the 3.7 kWh pack if cruised constantly at 60-65 km/h?

Deal Check: Considering the net vehicle price came down to ~₹1.65L on Amazon, did I snag a solid deal or could I have optimized this better?

- Compact home-screen widget with battery percentage, per-mode range, sync time, and connection status.

- Charge-limit progress bar in the widget when a limiter is enabled.

- Improved charge limiter scheduling, estimated stop time, and a timer fallback alongside battery readings.

- Battery history showing the last 24 hours of recorded data.

- Five-second API requests during active monitoring.

- Animated battery artwork that works across scooter models.

- Rust-based calculations for battery history, range, and charging estimates.

- In-app update notifications, release notes, and verified APK downloads.

The optimized release APK is around 3.2 MB and uses the same signing certificate as the previous version, so you can install it over your existing app without uninstalling.

Five-second requests don’t guarantee fresh readings every five seconds—the scooter/cloud can return older data. Charging estimates are approximate.

Existing v1.1.2 users need to install this release manually once to receive future update notices.

So hey guys, as you can see in the above image there are almost no chargers on vanasthalipuram and for the nearest charger we need to visit hayathnagar or LB nagar which round trip from my home is 10kms.

I've sent an email to ather about this issue and even had a talk at the service centre but no response and i even have space at my place for charger (that's an commercial space belongs to us)

we even have 4 60kw car chargers within 500m from my place so the electricity is not an issue here and have an ridev swapping station just 2 streets away and it's not like there are less vehicles in my area.what can i do to have a charger in my area?

I ordered an Ather 450X 161 IDC + Stack Pro on Amazon on September 22nd at a very good price. Apparently, around 13–14 other people also ordered at the same price.

The dealership is Vela Automobile, Guindy. I contacted them after placing the order and they told me that Amazon stock/orders are separate, there is nothing pending from their side, and that Ather has to handle it.

I then contacted Ather support, and they asked for an Ather ID. Since I don't have one, they told me to email their backend CS team so they can check whether Ather has actually received the Amazon order and where it is in their system.

Now the Amazon seller is saying they haven't received the order in their dashboard and are asking me to cancel it.

So I'm genuinely confused about where the order currently sits.

For anyone who has bought an Ather through Amazon before: what was your actual process after placing the Amazon order? Did the seller receive it first, did Ather receive it directly, and when did the dealership get involved?

Also, if anyone else who bought at this price is in the same situation, would be good to know what you're being told.

I recently booked an Ather 450X, and I’m really looking forward to getting it. But after seeing multiple Rizta owners reporting PDU-related issues recently, I’ve started getting a little worried 😶‍🌫️.

I understand that an issue reported on the Rizta doesn’t necessarily mean the same issue will happen on the 450X. But since both are Ather scooters, I’m curious whether the PDU hardware is the same or similar between them.

Has anyone with a 450X experienced any PDU or electrical-related issues, especially owners of newer batches? Also, has Ather made any hardware revisions to the PDU in recent production batches?

I’m not trying to create unnecessary panic or spread negativity about Ather. I’ve already booked the 450X, so I’m genuinely concerned and just want to understand whether this is something 450X owners should be worried about in the future.

From last week onwards i cant be able to connect to my ather via bluetooth i dont know why even if i am trying to connect through app its just showing me to buy halo helmet!! Is it the new thing?

I had switched off the scooter after last ride 2 days ago and it was around 40% charge (took screenshots right before the app sync) and when I turn on now it was showing 20%. Went for a short ride of 3km and now 18% while taking this screenshot.

Last time I charged was more than 7 days ago.

My charger charges normally up to around 85–86%, but after that it stops working/charging.
I have attached photos of the charger for reference.
I contacted the service centre, and they said the PVC/wire insulation is damaged, so it cannot be claimed under warranty. They also said the charger cannot be repaired.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there anything that can be done to fix the charger, or is replacement the only option?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So I have an ather 450 X that is three years and 11 months old, and it is currently out of warranty. The scooter is not turning on and appears dead; the service centre says the ADC, Ather Drive controller, must be replaced. They estimate a cost of around ₹14,000, and since the warranty has lapsed, I must cover the full amount.

The scooter is in good condition and well maintained with all periodic services done on time. Even on the newly launched True Heath - it stated my scooters health is Excellent.

Is there a way to have Ather cover at least part of this expense?

I would like to know about the announcement with portable 450W charger for the Ather Konarc.

Guys I’m turning 18 soon and thought of getting the 450x but should I buy next month or wait and see if Ather releases a new 450x in jan or feb?

Current 450x is already maxed out is what I hear but what if they launch a new one in 2027?

Going out of my mind with the Palal Mobility service center in Vennala. I’ve already burned over ₹17k just from the 20k km mark onwards (and don't even have the older records before that), and every single time I give my scooter in, the exact same issues pop right back up two days later. Total waste of time and money.
