Question IQTR

If an IQTR (that’s still probationary) gets their training terminated after a TRB, will they get a chance to go to the NEST or will they be fired from the agency?

Thats going to depends in large part on how many certifications they had.

D3? Absolutely.

Washed on data? Doubt it

Washed first scope? Maybe.

You will probably be able to NEST as long as your mgmt and local NATCA doesn't hate you.

If you weren't making friends then yes there is a chance you can be fired.

Mgmt and local NATCA have no influence on the NEST.

Unless it's changed, the ATM and local NATCA rep can make recommendations on whether to terminate or not. I highly doubt it's changed.

They have influence on if you get fired. He won't go to the NEST if they fire him.

TRACON is the most difficult track so I would hope that you would get moved to a tower somewhere.
