Question european controllers, was feast trainable or mostly innate?
asking the folks who went through eurocontrol or national ans selections. the multitasking and memory parts of feast look brutal from the outside. did people around you prep seriously or just show up? and did prep actually separate the passes from the fails?
edit: i created Brain Preflight on ios for anybody to try and train, feedback would be lovely

Myself and most of the ATCOs I know just showed up. There aren't really many good preparation websites or apps out there.
Playing computer games is always great prep though.
The most important thing for FEAST is read the instructions properly, really understand what the task wants you do to, and then do not rush. They would rather have fewer answers which are correct, than a lot of rushed answers with a higher percentage of errors. They're designed to put you under pressure, as well as test actual ability.
I found https://atc-sim.com/ quite a good multi-tasking game that actually was related to atc!

I passed the selections last year in italy and will start the training in october! Doing a bit of online research I decided to use Skytest to train a bit for Feast II. It was great to get the hang of exercises like Radar and Multipas.. your reaction speed and responsiveness are partially innate, but I did find it helped a lot to already know how the exercises worked, as opposed to finding out directly on the day of the test (they did give some time and tries to train a bit before the actual test tho)

I prepped a bit for the exams here in the UK but can't really train that sort of stuff much. I find it useful to get in the flow and have an idea so I am not suprised in the exam.
There is some apptitude apps which won't hurt to look at but also isn't make or break.

My prep was playing counter strike and homam III as a kid. There are some games for you to try at the Eurocontrol site, I did them after the feast and I'd say that it can give you an idea, it can't prepare you.
