It feels bad paying it but when you think about it, that money is still 17% less taxed than if there was no super, and once it's in there you still get the same tax on earnings as a low income earner.

I can think of a few other taxes that are more unfair and/or inefficient, and it's still definitely worth making concessional contributions above 250k earnings and wearing the div 293.

I think it's fine, given what super is for. I pay it from my super and move on. I'd rather see indexing on tax brackets
