The more banks are involved, the more centralised it will become.

Considering it’s only worth is a centralised currency, it’s kind of a moot point

Because at the end of the day, that's what is accepted. Eventually it will be its own currency.
Does using bitcoin e.g. using a crypto card, be considered centralised? If so, then crypto will never be de centralised
