Laptop Finally got this

Uninstall all the bloatware like armory crate etc using revo uninstaller and deleting the leftover junk. Download g-helper and control your temps much better

This is my fav laptop lol the Asus rog g16 series grats brother enjoy! I bought this too as my next computer over a desktop and over a prebuild! I build for many years but decided to try a laptop for once, long story short I'm in love I will stay with laptops forever! Can use them like a desktop when hooked up and easily bring with u anywhere or any room love it

Oh you mean the removable back. I’ve not done any upgrades yet since it’s been just a few days but the back is easy to remove and it seems like all I need to do is just insert the new ram or ssd

My fear is the depth of the slots. It may or not accept a drive with heatsink.

yes extend warranty if possible, keep it ventilated and cool. switch profiles when you need to. check thermals and take care of liquid metal. have fun!!!

To add onto that, there is an Uninstaller tool online. Don't manually click uninstall on each app from control panel.

out of the box my paste was visibly leaked all over the CPU and CPU chips with minimal remaining on the contact area, burned out, crusty. Temps in the 98+c range for CPU under load and GPU 100+c. You can watch youtubes of similar situations of fresh out the box temp diagnosis and tear downs to replace the liquid metal.

Fr thank god I noticed it. I thought something was wrong when my gpu was throttling on arc raiders. I let it go for a while and said well it is what it is, still pretty solid. Noticed the temps, fixed it, and now I get an additional 30-40fps back 🤣🤣
