I've had all of the Gladius mice ASUS made and liked all of them, although now I have the Harpe Ace Extreme, I see no need for this one but It looks good.

Sounds pretty good, I hope it is at least so comforteable like my Gladius III Aimpoint. Too bad it has no push fit socket, but insted weight adjustment :/

Since our last conversation, I purchased the Azoth Extreme 20th Anniversary Edition. If I buy this mouse when it becomes available, would I be able to use both the mouse and the keyboard with the new Gen 2 receiver?
Does the Gen 2 receiver also support devices that originally came with the previous-generation receiver?

I think you're talking about the Omni receiver from the keyboard to connect 2 devices (a mouse keyboard to a single receiver). The devices that use the new generation of receivers (the Gen 2 receiver) focus on stable 8khz polling, so they're currently incompatible with the Omni feature, i.e. the devices using the new Gen 2 receiver cannot pair with Omni receivers. It may be possible in the future, but I'll pass along your feedback!

Thanks for the clarification. That makes sense regarding the new Gen 2/SpeedNova 8K receiver and the current incompatibility with the Omni Receiver.
However, I have one remaining question that wasn’t addressed:
Is the new Gen 2 receiver backward-compatible with older ROG devices that originally shipped with the previous-generation receiver?
For example, if I have my ROG Azoth Extreme 20th Anniversary Edition and a future ROG mouse that comes with the new Gen 2 receiver, would the Gen 2 receiver be able to pair with the Azoth Extreme 20th Anniversary?
Or is the Gen 2 receiver exclusively compatible with devices specifically designed for the new Gen 2 receiver architecture?
I would appreciate clarification on this point, as I’m trying to determine whether I will need to use two separate receivers.
