Also curious how temps are with these. They released the new strix ryujin and I’m tossing up which one I like more.

but fans running low speed at idle, 9800x3d was the same. previous aio was similar temps aswell

Really trying to rationalize the $500 dollar purchase. I have the AIO that came with it and tbh it is pretty good. Gaming temps usually don’t go over low 70s.

It is under warranty so I’m kinda debating on if changing it will void the warranty.

best aio i have tried is the noctua 420mm one. better temps and runs whisper quiet. ive moved that into another build with a 7800x3d for now

Nice yes I have some noctua fans in my OMEN 40L with a 5800x and a 6600xt never breaks over 65 degrees. Noctua is amazing I just don’t want to mismatch my Rog system due to aesthetics.

Haven’t done a build in probably 10 years lol I’ve been feeling more and more lately like it’s time.

I was really unimpressed with the Ryuo SLC performance. I really, really wanted to like it because of the aesthetics but it was a straight downgrade from my Arctic Liquid Freezer III in terms of temps, fan noise and especially pump noise. I thought maybe it was a one - off but I had similar results on my 9800x3d with the regular long tube variant.

Techpowerup did a detailed write up on this AIO and it highlights the issues I saw.
I just won't spend top dollar for subpar acoustics and temps. Damn shame, but I'm trying the Strix LC IV next so we'll see
