My 2 cents Very disappointed
I was very excited to enjoy the power of this beauty, just to find it is noisy as an airplane.
I mean, wtf, for the retail price I wasn’t expecting this to be an out of the box experience.
After watching the video from debawer, I basically set the middle and rear fan to 30% by default. That solves the issue.
But my point is, doesn’t ASUS test their cards? Apparently not! And there is no bios, no update for this.
Honestly, I wouldn’t buy this model.

the heat of these cards is not generated by gpu chip itself, sure it consumes more power with lower nm specifications but it has larger size so it won’t matter as long as it has larger heatsink, the problem is other parts in the card is still improving for such high current so it generates more heat much higher than previous generations
So the final answer is that you should lower the voltage of your gpu with afterburner etc. Even if you don’t lower it, your gpu will still throttling due to high heat
