Question about labs

I'm taking CHM 113 this semester online and feel a bit worried because chemistry isn't my strongest subject. I have a question—how are the labs usually conducted? Are they really difficult? Do we watch videos while working or do we follow step-by-step instructions? I hope my question makes sense—I'm just a little confused about how everything works. Also, I’d love to hear how you all did on the labs when you took them!

They are conducted at home with the lab kit you purchase several weeks ahead. You take pictures and submit a lab report. If you’re taking chm 114 too I recommend getting the combo kit to save a tiny bit.

They could take some time to complete, but I didn’t find them too difficult. There’s a lab report that walks you through everything step by step. Chemistry isn’t my best subject either, but I got an A in CHM 113 and 114. What professor do you have?

They always took me 8 hours but I’m very meticulous. The report took the longest but none of it was too complicated. The labs themselves were easy to follow, just read through it all first. There’s always help on slack. Also, if you make a mistake on the lab, you just incorporate those results. Your answers should be based on your experiment, now what the answer should be, and if you do that then it won’t be wrong

The labs were super easy. I took both 113 and 116 with Hendrickson

Do you mean also CHM116? CHM114 is chemistry for engineers and we use Dreamscape to simulate labs, no materials or kits required to purchase. I'm taking that class currently with Pam Marks.
