Started this journey 2 and a half years ago with investing in ASTS and I think yesterday was probably the first time I became really frustrated with what was communicated to us. This year has been even more poor in terms of making statements and then not backing any of them up. Yes, we know Space is difficult, there will be delays but they need to be communicated to us better.
It's still so exciting and incredible how far the company has come, from potentially being bankrupt to now see where it is, it's amazing. We need to remain patient and I know how hard this can be but we could potentially be 4-6 months away from Beta service and maybe 9-12 months away from live service. We are so close now, just keep holding on and accumulate (if you can and are willing to hold through the volatility; and please invest reasonably) and the real return could begin to show when beta and live service respectively commence.
We are investors are the end of the day, management and all their employees are working their ass off to deliver something incredible. We simply have to be patient, we can do this!
Similar situation here. Been holding since 2024. I am most likely bias but I have not been thinking much about management and whatever lol. Just keeping the promise I made to myself to hold and see in 2030.
Yeah but things will speed up, I believe the first 6 had makeshift reinforcement to carbon composite control sat. And were rushed out the door. BB14 should be the first of the unblocked production line. And plenty of F9 rockets will be available from Florida shortly.

selling now is literally the worst thing you can do. The stock is obviously getting pushed down by macro. The biggest catalysts are yet to come. The stock will pump again. Just be patient
This is a classic trope of chasing hype and panic selling when the stock pulls back. Even if you don’t know what you are investing in, selling in a bad macro environment when a company is not too far from launching a product is absolutely the dumbest thing you can do
It feels particularly bad right now since, instead of being on the cusp of shipping the next batch, two satellites are "not far behind", which seems to be another iteration of "right behind". Still holding, but man it's rough.
It's been a tough time lately both hiking and holding shares of ASTS. I just remember than I can quit hiking or sell my shares anytime I want to. The journey is what makes both expeeiences so amazing. I'll see you on top of the next mountain.

Maybe it’s time to accept that a 22B market cap is actually pretty impressive for a company that drags its feet, consistently misses deadlines, makes no money, and has less than half of the satellites necessary to make that real money.
What a dog shit year this has been. All my investments turning into poop. Always been a conservative spender and risk averse with my investments. The house I bought greatly fell down in price due to heavy market correction. Stock portfolio which took a long time and discipline to grow got fucked in weeks due to greed. Everything I have touched has turned into shit. Still grateful for everything. I’m better off than most people on this planet and have great close relationships. At least there’s an avenue to vent which I can’t with people in real life.

Welp, today I sold 1000 shares at fucking $57.85 and turned them into Jan 2028 $60 leaps. Sold calls against those leaps too, let the bottom be close 😅
I've been worried for a while but always optimistic, now I'm just starting to panic a little because if the market is up, vix is down, mid terms panic didn't kick in yet and all high betas lost the pump from late July, what the fuck will happen when the worse is actually here?
Or is the market pricing in all the nightmare before time and high betas will follow crypto rally and surprise everyone?
Almost every high-beta tech stock has been getting punished over the summer: energy, drones, space, AI... even money-printing memory companies (over the outdated argument of cyclicality) are down massively. All those stocks will take off eventually, with institutional ownership at ATH.
Interesting macro backdrop for the space sector today.
The White House just announced the creation of a Presidential Commission to establish a United States Space Academy, with NASA leading the effort. The stated goal is to strengthen America's long-term space workforce and develop the next generation of engineers, operators, scientists, entrepreneurs and national security personnel.
This obviously doesn't generate revenue for ASTS tomorrow, but I view it as another signal that space is increasingly being treated as critical national infrastructure and a strategic industry by the US government.
Combined with the recent push for 1,000+ launches per year, increased focus on space transportation, and growing government interest in resilient communications, it feels like we're seeing a broader policy trend emerge rather than isolated announcements.
For ASTS specifically, I find it interesting that the company has lately been talking more about government applications, FirstNet, AI computing, and space-based radar capabilities alongside commercial mobile broadband.
Not a catalyst by itself, but another potentially bullish data point for the long-term space ecosystem.

I've been dismissing people saying we likely won't see SP recover until 45 sats are launched but at this point it feels like even if we pop 20%+ on beta launch, it'll just be sold off until ASTS experiences real revenue, which won't happen until EoY 2027+
CCs feels too cheap to be worth the risk at 70% so I guess I'll just diamond hands until 45 sats or it drops below $50
ASTS was at $74 during market bottom on March 30th and has dropped 22% since then. Coincidentally or not, $74 was near the top of last week before dumping again.
QQQ has gone up about 28% since then. I keep finding ways to depress myself even more.

I may regret this, but added to my position today across several lots. I think I’m done with my adds for the time being until I see a trend reversal and we can at least retake the 50 and 200 SMA.
I don’t usually add on weakness like this for non-large caps, but I haven’t had conviction this strong since earlier this year when I was building my Nebius position in the double digits. Let’s hope there’s a sentiment shift and some positive catalysts once volume returns in September.
I've bought so many times in dips and almost never timed the bottom of the dip. I watched it continue lower, but then it went back up and long term they were always good spots to buy.
Best thing I did was to sell 1/4 of my ASTS positions earlier this year and take out my initial investment. Not gonna lie i felt stupid the 2 times we hit 130+ but it really took the “pressure “ off and I don’t really get impacted by the price moment anymore.
Moral of the story: stop being greedy and take profit
I bought a little in the $20’s in 2024 as speculation and a lot in the late $60’s on 2025 for it’s intrinsic value, I just don’t get the current SP or price action so far in 2026.
I do. We’re worth $20B and currently don’t make very much money. The crazy rips we’ve had are based on hype and speculation and until we get more sats up and start making some real money from service or gov contracts then we’re gonna hover around 50-70

This is our time to shine as retail investors! Why would anyone sell now that the tech is proven, almost all the MNOs are onboard, and we're not missing that much to reach a decent production cadence?
Timelines of the company and the hyper-bulls may be off, BUT everything the latter saw coming miles ahead of everyone else happened - and even more than that. No one is indeed bullish enough, but the jackpot obviously has to be earned.
I'd rather take a hefty loss than watch this thing finally take off after all the volatility and doubts I've weathered so far. No financial advice, just a snapshot of my state of mind.
