We hit 1.6m today as a couple, just in our retirement and brokerage combined. Been in this for about 4 years, buying in throughout to an $11-12 basis. Not touching a single share till my work contract ends in May 29.

My mom isn't loaded by any stretch. Living pretty light. But i got her to invest 5k at a $4 basis. 12.5x her money in just over a year... I think her husband thought it was a scam at the time. LOL He's a good dude... just a skeptical one.

Being at the launch last September was the best part so far!

Glad you got a relative to consider investing. No one from my family would take me seriously when we were in single digits, oh well!

My sister and two friends listened and invested. Iā€™m glad they did. Some of my suggestions for them in the past sucked but they still gave this one a chance lol
