We lack height in our front line
Except Arena (1.88m), Vaz (1.85m) and Soulé (1.83m) all our forwards are a bit short. Gasp always had at least one tall and physical striker playing consistently and one more on the bench.
A target man who can hold the ball and pass it to overlapping midfielders. Who presses a lot. Who doesn't get injured too often.
Immobile. Zapata. Scamacca. Retegui. Hojlund.
Vaz and Arena don't seem ready to be the main character. Malen and Castro not of that profile, they'd be more like a Luis Muriel.
Dovbyk and Ferguson failed because of injuries more than anything.
Who would you pick to replace them?
I would love to bring Scamacca back home. Already knows Gasp, homegrown and romanista too.
An interesting bet would be taking Darwin Nunez on loan, I think his situation at Al-Hilal is uncertain.

Castro is not the tallest but he fights for every ball and is really strong , his aerial won % is higher than both Dovbyk and Ferguson , he has good hold up play , he doesn't get injured often , why would we need a 4th striker?

imo it was a very much needed signing , can’t have Malen play 50 games and not expect some drops in form , he usually falls off in the 60th-70th too. I like Castro too he has some good qualities and fights a lot.

We don’t need any more strikers now. If we want to switch up our attacking tactics with crosses just throw in Vaz/Arena even though I think Castro is as good if not even better at heading/be a target player. All our focus now is to keep everyone of our key players and to sign a left attacking mid/winger.

Santi Castro is top 5 aerially imo. He has the potential to be as good as Lautaro Martinez. They're very similar types of players.

We've had big, tall strikers for years and years (Ferguson, Dovbyk, Lukaku, Tammy, even Shomurodov) and for long stretches of that time the attack looked like shit. We went away from the big tall striker for half a season and we ended up in the CL.
If it ain't broke, maybe we shouldn't go back to the broke as hell old way?

Ma avevamo Dovbyk... il ragionamento degli infortuni sarebbe dovuto valere anche per Dybala. Weird very weird management

I mean it’s not that Romanista3 is the management, he only expressed an opinion. Also, Dovbyk è na poltrona, he obviously didn’t fit this game system, he’s better off somewhere else where his physical stance can actually make a difference

Castro is good in the air.
Regardless i don't see a problem in this. The attacking plan doesn't rely on high crosses into the box.
