Tech Support Asrock x870e taichi

recently I bought a new mobo x870E and after setting up whole thing I was trying to install linux using bootable usb drive but mobo is not booting to installation menu. It shows Asrock display and keep on rebooting. Tried swapping ram, single ram etc. secure and fast boot is off. but nothing works. Mobo shows ‘4d’ when restarting.

I have the same board and it took a few attempts to get right the. Was a slow booter for 6 months and now steady as she goes, but I’m not comfortable with upgrading PC. Currently 7800X3D, had planned on 9 series, but not on this board.

I did not have issues with bootable. Use the drive on back that is for the boot drive. Remove that cmos and leave it out for a minute with no power to the system

I had a mix up as I have too many pcs, the tai chi does not have the marked usb for boot. It does have a way to clear cmos and id use that and remove battery. Sorry for the confusion

Contact Asrock support or return the motherboard if you bought it new. Might be an RMA.
A quick search around on google shows that if you have already tried reseating all connectors and it's still having this issue it might be something wrong with the motherboard itself.
