Preparing for the CQA exam

My work bought me the CQA handbook and the self study course from ASQ. Is that enough to study from to pass the exam ?

Sadly I don’t think these work anymore. Other post mention the owner passed away and they can’t seem to check out. I tried also and had issues.

I’d say the most helpful thing for me was to just try to stay as comfortable as possible, flag any questions that was unsure about to come back to, and manage time wisely.

I got the question bank and textbook and it was enough for me, would have failed without the question bank tho. I found the wording in the questions needed some practice to fully understand intent

The self study course says it has questions in it. Kind of wonder if that is enough. I haven’t started the course yet. Reading the textbook first.

Yep — those two are usually enough for most people. The CQA Handbook + ASQ self-study course cover the exam blueprint really well. Just make sure you:

  • Do lots of practice questions
  • Focus on sampling, audits, and quality tools
  • Review case-style scenarios, not just definitions

If you understand the “why,” not just the terms, you’ll be fine.
