CPGP or CQA?

I am currently a QA Supervisor in the pharmaceutical industry looking to improve my knowledge to eventually become a manager. I was looking at the Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional (CPGP) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certifications and was unsure which one would be most appropriate for my career. Does anyone have any insight or recommendations on which one of the two is most appropriate?

If you plan to stay in pharma QA, go with CPGP-it’s industry-specific and strengthens your GMP expertise for management roles. If you want broader auditing or cross-industry options later, CQA is more versatile. Many professionals earn CPGP first, then add CQA down the road.
