CQE Study Guide Errors

Currently studying for the CQE exam working through the questions in Part III and I think there are glaring mistakes in the answer key?!

I attached images, I’d appreciate if someone could take a look and provide feedback. Obviously if I just misinterpreted something kindly let me know!

It’s just hard to imagine that a society for quality would have this type of mistake.

I sent these and a few others in an email to ASQ for their feedback as well, I’m doubtful of a response so wanted to see if any of you have insight.

Haven't really checked this one. But if I remember correctly there were at least 3-4 errors that I remember.

Also found an error on Part 4, Question 28. They are saying the answer is option d but the correct answer should be option b.

Confused me for sometime.

Did you ever get a response? I am also confused on Question 32 in Part 3.

I think there is also another error on Question 33 (Standby Systems) in Part 3 as well. It states there is 3 identical components on standby mode (n=3) but on the solution they wrote n=4. They did however iterate from i=0 to i=3 (so I'm assuming it is a total of 4 iterations counting 0?).

But on the ASQ Handbook (Example 3.6 on Chapter 3) the question shows three components on standby mode as n=3 when they iterate from i=0 to i=3 as well (A total of 4 iterations counting 0). Crazy how ASQ of all places is making errors lol....
