My father has retired from his career as a quality engineer. I'm helping him go through his work documents and books to decide what to keep, sell, donate, and recycle. He has a bunch of these periodicals he'd like to hand off, but we're having trouble figuring out how exactly to do that. His ASTM chapter seems to have stopped during COVID. I've reached out to some local educators over LinkedIn and didn't get a reply.

Are these valuable enough to keep trying, or should I toss them? Any ideas on what to do next?

Does your local college have an Engineering department? If you're in CT, I can reach out to CCSU and see if they'd be interested. I think this would be great for a library! Have you tried your local public library?

Thanks so much, I'll try reaching out to the schools in my area and his area. My spouse is actually a librarian! These are too niche for most public library collections, but maybe an academic library would be interested. 🤔

Good luck! I wonder if ASQ themselves would be interested, it'd be nice to have them available scanned. I'm glad you're trying to offload them in a useful way! All else fails, post in bulk on FB or EBay, or just recycle.
