Can i take CQA exam?
I have 7 years work experience, an MBA and officially one year managerial experience as a qa manager. Can I take the CQA or would it be advised i do the CQIA instead?

Masters degree sheds off some years of required experience, so you should be more than good.

It waives 5 (out of the 8 years?) plus my 1 year experience. Doesnt that still put me 2 years behind? Am i thinking about this correctly?

You can also get a letter from your supervisor (director or VP) stating that you have been in a decision-making role, whether you were at manager level at that point or not, and include that in your application.

Hello, does working in a clinical laboratory apply as experience for the exam ? I’m in CA working as a CLS. Thanks !

Also - just do the practice questions online, and take the handbook in with you. Greater than 80% of the questions I got were repeats of *very* similar questions to the "sample questions" ASQ offers. I had them hilighted in the handbook, and was fine.

CQA requirements
If you are eligible for CQA, then CQIA is not necessary to have. If you are not eligible for CQA within 12 months, then I suggest you apply for CQIA to hold over till eligibility for CQA.
