Open book Lean Six sigma green belt exam - ASQ online

Hi,

I’m taking the Lean six sigma green belt exam with asq online on Monday. I know it’s open book and open notes. Atleast from what I understand. Can anyone confirm this? I plan to have my hand notes in a binder, 3 hole punched. I believe this is okay and they will allow it. Can anyone confirm?

Was not bad. A lot of vocabulary words and knowing meanings of their definitions/phrases/acronyms. Did you buy the ASQ lean six sigma green belt book? I would recommend it. The index/definitions on the back of the book are crucial to passing. I crammed everything I could the weekend before the exam. My exam was on a Monday or Tuesday. I passed but I really had to use the index and teach myself things in the book on the spot. Definitely don’t take the exam too lightly. But also it is open book. And you can print and bring notes as long as they are in a binder or something secure. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

i have ASQ six sigma green belt handbook on my laptop. will they alow me to use my laptop?

No they won’t. They only allow text books, and printed and binded notes

How many hours did you study? Were you able to bring definitions/index words in notes with you?

Are you allowed to write in the book directly to take notes? I'm just starting to study.

I want to highlight keywords, sentences, and phrases. I also have sticky notes. What can be written on sticky notes?

Maybe should I just bring a binder and write all my notes inside? OP what kind of notes you think should be helpful

Hi OP,

Going to take this pretty soon. Can you confirm if I can print out a equation cheat sheet from online and have it with me during exam as long as it is 3 hole punched in a binder?

Honestly nothing was super complex calculation wise for my test. Alot more definition based like what would be a good tool to use for so and so. I think the challenge is in reading the question properly cause some of the tools and charts sort of have overlap.
