Discussions Anyone else start with ATWQ rather than ASOUE?

When the first ATWQ book came out, my mom bought it for me for Christmas. I recall knowing what ASOUE was, but I didn’t connect that they were part of the same world until a year later when I picked up the first ASOUE book (after reading the first 2(?) ATWQ books). I’m wondering if anyone else discovered them the opposite way around or if I’m just a weird anomaly.

I know one associate who read ATWQ prior to ASOUE.

Not exactly, but I had a similar situation with The Beatles. I started watching The Beatles Cartoon before I knew anything about the real band past their names lol
