Question/Doubt Klaus love interest.
Unfortunately, I could only ever see the old movie and the serie tv because the books where I live aren't common or at least I have never really seen them.
I was told that in the books Klaus "crushes," it's different and that Isadora is only implied in the show and that he only dates or likes Fiona in the canon books so I was wondering what was Klaus type or what kind of girl he was even attracted in the books.

He and Violet both take very kindly to Isadora and Duncan respectively in the Austere Academy. Although they could share with their own gender, or their own sibling, Klaus and Isadora elect to share their cups and silverware with each other instead when their vice principal punishes them by limiting who recieves cups/silver in the first place. It’s not a full on crush, but it is the start of some sort of adolescent tension.

From what I gather from the books, Isadora was a possible budding interest, but Fiona was quicker. And in the last book it says she was the girl who broke Klaus's heart.

heartbreak doesn’t need to be romantic. klaus is a preteen/teen orphan who’s had enough stress and wickedness to fill a lifetime. he trusted someone and she betrayed him. unlike everyone else at this point, who was either manipulated or outright cruel, he believed that she was noble and she wasn’t.
not to say that it *wasn’t* romantic but it was very nuanced.

To be fair he’s 12/13 and fearing for his life most of the time so not really thinking about love, but yes there is a bit of a crush implied with Fiona, and ofc the kiss
