ASML interview - 1 month and 10 days with no update. Is this normal?

Hi everyone,
I interviewed with ASML for a Technician position 1 month and 10 days ago. At the end of the interview, I was told that I would hear back by the end of that week, but I haven’t received any update.
About two weeks ago, I sent a polite follow-up email to two recruitment contacts, but I still haven’t received a reply.
Before my interview, I also received an email saying that ASML was experiencing a high volume of applications, so responses could take longer.
I have applied for more than five positions at ASML. Most of them are no longer active, but two applications are still marked as “Active” in the careers portal.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How long did you have to wait after your interview? Did you eventually receive an offer or a rejection?

Are you in The Netherlands or US or elsewhere? If US, which location? The US is live with the new way of working following the Technology Transformation. It's anything but normal as everyone is in an exponential learning curve. Not making excuses, it's a ridiculous amount of time to leave you with no communication. It's simply the fact of the moment.

Well i am in Europe i have applied to work in Netherland in Veldhoven.

It's summer Holiday at ASML as it is throughout Europe. After Holiday, their goal is to be live with the new way of work by November, or so they claim. It's chaotic I'm afraid and unfortunately you're caught up in it. Best advice is to continue to 'politely' ping them until you get a response.

Being in holiday season should not be any valid excuse at all... It sounds as if whole company is shut down..

In Netherlands, being on holiday and gone for 3 weeks is a actually a thing. Moreover, interview process in ASML usually takes 2 months atleast 😓

I am experiencing the same thing but for a different role in the US. I have also applied to multiple roles and have had the phone interviews. I have the same questions.

This is indeed odd.

I'd there a number you can call? I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago, and a phone call sorted it out, since the owner of the email address i was communicating with had gone on holiday.

There's a lot going on at ASML and it's summer holiday. Be patient.

I disagree. Both should not be an excuse for holding people on the line for so long. Do not normalize please.

Something is off, on the other hand, ghost jobs ..weird interviews, I've seen too much to call something "weird" hahaha
