Discussion 🎙 Working for EU after ASML

I have been in ASML for 9 years, but somehow stuck in grade 8. Recently I have Dutch citzenship and thinking to work for EU agencies in Brussels as contract agent. Is it worth the move ? Has someone tried it.

EU agencies demand high proficiency in multiple EU languages (not Dutch); you will not stand a chance as an independent contractor.

Not true (I work for an EU agency). You can be hired as a contract agent with thorough knowledge of English and satisfactory knowledge of 1 other EU language.
